What to do in an emergency
If you smell gas or think there might be a gas leak or leak of fumes, do the following:
- Turn off the gas at the meter
- Put out naked flames
- Do not use electrical devices
- Open windows
- Immediately call the gas emergency number 0800 111 999
- Seek medical advice if you feel unwell
If you notice a strong smell of oil or are concerned about your oil boiler in any way, contact me, but if I am unable to take your call:
- Turn off the boiler at the power supply
- Turn off your oil supply at the tank
